Ammonia

Casale Group S.A. is one of the oldest licenser of ammonia in the world. Thanks to forcing on the development of technology and concern on client’s need,Casale Group has been leader in the field of ammonia production in China by its reference of new ammonia plants that has occupied above 50% in Chinese market.
Methanol
In 1928, in view of the close similarity of their synthesis gas production technology, Ammonia Casale started to engineer and construct methanol synthesis plants in addition to ammonia plants. Key achievements in plant upgrading include capacity increase, reduced specific consumption of synthesis gas, and improvement in the quality of the raw methanol. Methanol Casale has also recently built, and is still building, grass-roots plants including the world’s largest plant with a capacity of 7,000 MTD.
Among Methanol Casale's latest developments, ammonia plants can be retrofitted for methanol production or co-production of ammonia and methanol. Like its mother company Ammonia Casale, the main strength of Methanol Casale lies in the continuous development of its technologies, which are developed in-house by a team of very specialized and experienced people.
Urea
Urea Casale is the second company of the Casale Group. As is well known, urea is one of the most important agricultural fertilizers. A large part of the ammonia produced in the world is transformed into urea in plants installed downstream of ammonia production units. Activities in the urea field were, therefore, a logical diversification for Ammonia Casale.
Together with its technologies(VRS、HEC、Split-Flow-LOOP) and vast know-how in the field, makes Urea Casale the ideal partner for improving urea plant performance.
Syngas shift
Isothermal soft shift process, independent researched by SIECC, is suitable for high carbon mono-oxide rate syngas (such as product gas from GSP, SHELL, BGL, HANGTIAN gasifier) soft shift. The process prevents situation of overtemperature and temperature runaway efficiently.
The process can produce steam as byproduct of 4.0MPa or above as dynamic steam;
The process can reduce consumption of process steam and release of process liquor condensate efficiently;
Rectisol
Split- Rectisol process independent researched by SIECC has superiority as follows:
1.SIECC owns total VLE Regression data range from 2.0~8.0MPa
2.Split- Rectisol process is able to reduce consumption of refrigeration & steam.
3.To predigest process, coiled heat exchanger is no need to be used. All equipment can be manufactured in China to save cost.
4.SIECC provide spilt-rectisol process package for Yitai’s coal to oil project in inner Mongolia, which has pass test of load and run in full load.
Liquor nitrogen wash & Molecular sieve
1.SIECC can configure different liquor nitrogen wash process based on different type of gasification.
2.Thermal calculation model based on experiment regression data

Conversion Syngas
Auto Thermal Reforming & partial oxidation process researched by SIECC independently have proved suitable for gas conversion in industry such as coal gas, nature gas, tailgas from FT synthesis conversion.
1.Outlet temperature of ATR converter is 1025℃. The ATR process generate high pressure steam as byproduct.
2.Outlet temperature of POX converter is 1360℃. The POX process generate high pressure steam as byproduct. the POX process can use not only domestic burning nozzle but also Casale burning nozzle.
